Booking Confirmation Cargo Chain 1
PURPOSE
The purpose of this process is that you inform our people when there are errors on the Booking Confirmations.
You will ask up our Booking orders and the Booking Confrimation then check on the following criteria:
-Shipname
-E.T.D
-Destination
-Principal’s ref / file number
-Nr of Containers
When all items are the same, you will change the status to status: 50 Confirmed. When you find differences between the 2 documetns, you will change the status to: 25 Declined. Open and write in the remark field on the booking order hat are the differences betwwen the documents.
Here you can see an example Booking Order. You will use the header information to perform the check:

Go to: Open the Remote Administration -> Documentation -> Booking Orders.
2 BOOKING ORDERS
Enter the text Confirmed in to the field status and press Search. Open the first booking order with double click.
The following screen will appear: click on the file number link.

STATUS 50
When all information is OK (see exceptions) you can close the documents and file. Now you must change the status of the Booking Order to 50 Confirmed.
Now you can close this screen (with the Check mark) and open the next booking order.
STATUS 25 - DECLINED
When the information does not compare, you must perform the following handlings.
Close the documents and the file. Now you are standing on the booking confirmation again.
Change the status to: 25 Declined.
Enter the differences on the documents in the remarks field. This can be:
– Shipname – When you are not sure that you have a good shipname, change the status to 25 and enter this by the remarks. The same applies to the destination this is also written different
-E.T.D
– Destination – The ETD on the Booking Confirmation has to be in a range of 3 day’s of the date on our Booking Order.
-Principal’s ref / file number –
It could happen that the principal’s ref is not on the booking confirmation this is not a problem. It can also happen that our file number is handwritten on the Booking Confirmation. This is also no problem. If the rest is OK you can change the status to 50 Confirmed.
